Myddelton Grill On The Square - Ruthin

This is a quirky old building with friendly helpful staff from the arrival to the departure with the usual 'spoons menu and great prices in between. our room was spacious, the bed was solid, but comfortable and very large. all linen were immaculate white. we were two floors up and no noise from down or other guests. the room looked a little tired and needed a touch-up, (note to pure look behind the bathroom door. but at the price was still excellent. pay attention to the parking space on the back of the building, there are now only two disabled rooms and that 's it, the other rooms are a little further on being the property of an adjacent business, so for all other parkings its just a little further down the road either on the short or long stay 'pay and display', both favorable. the location could not be more central and convenient in this historic and interesting Welsh city.

Food quality and menu really have a gear at wetherspoons, really great, after so long time back we were over at night in the castle hotel, our room was very comfortable and we slept well. the personal was all very helpful and we would like to visit again soon. the cask room in the ground floor was quieter than the rest of the pub and was ideal for a cozy breakfast on Saturday morning. I really agree to the 99p coffee-free refills, we will be back

Excellent value for money. practical for breakfast and great location! the 24h reception was extremely helpful as we arrived after midnight!

My partner and I visited Ruthin last night for our first evening and we stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant. Not only was the decor well presented, but the staff were also friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The food was incredible! I ordered the 16oz porterhouse steak, which was the daily special, and it was cooked to perfection. I would recommend this place a hundred times over.

Amazing steak and pfefferminz sauce. came here 4 years ago when they visited Wales and did not stop talking about it, as so easy knew we were going to visit again and it was not disappointed
