Myddelton Grill On The Square - Ruthin

I stayed at the Castle Hotel last night with a group of seven and dined at this restaurant. The food, service, and staff were excellent from start to finish, with very generous portions. I highly recommend this restaurant, even though Peter couldn't get a glass of port - a funny little joke between one of our group and the charming Hungarian waitress. We will definitely be back. This grill house is no-frills but offers generous portions of tasty food. The service is top-notch, with attentive staff. We were grateful for their flexibility when we were running late. It would be great to see a bit more variety on the menu.

Lovely location on the square. Simple, grill based menu. Food OK, service friendly and relaxed.

Came here this evening, ordered the loaded nachoes which were amazing, loaded with chicken, cheese and dips. Partner ordered steak medium rare, the steak was so tender I didn't need a steak knife, just melted in your mouth. We had some cocktails too which were really good. Staff were lovely and really attentive nothing was not too much trouble. Would definitely go again, only rated a 4 as I would have liked a window seat, we will mention this on our next booking, as the views onto the town are lovely.
