Green's Russell Indian Cuisine

We had a fantastic meal at this restaurant. The server was delightful, full of great energy and positivity. We thoroughly enjoyed our food—some of the best Indian cuisine we've experienced in New Zealand. We will definitely return and recommend it to others. Service: Dine in.

I was in Russell for just a few days and decided to dine at Greens Indian, and I was thoroughly impressed with the food. I ordered dal makhni and chili cauliflower, along with garlic naan and poppadoms. The dal makhni was one of the best I've ever had! The naan was soft, crispy, and bursting with flavor. The chili cauliflower was delightful as well. The staff were attentive and helpful throughout my meal. If I lived nearby, I would definitely come back to eat here again. For vegetarians, the options were fantastic and absolutely delicious, especially the dal makhni!

I'm sorry to say that I was quite disappointed with Greens for separating Thai and Indian cuisine. The atmosphere at the York Street location was unfortunately lacking. While the food was decent, I didn't expect to hear Indian Bollywood music at a Thai restaurant. To top it off, I ended up with some awful hiccups for some reason.

The staff are very welcoming and efficient. The food arrived quickly and it was delicious and beautifully presented. The restaurant itself was clean and nicely laid out. I would definitely go again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
