A beautiful small place that seems a fusion between Cuban, puerto rican and Tex-Mex. Unfortunately, they don't really specialize in one that seems. the food is delicious, however. the server are super friendly, which was beautiful. concerning eating, we loved the curtains, the tres leches cake, the brotpudding is the best thing I ever had, the ropa vieja is super tasty, as well as the roasted pork, and the palomilla steak sandwich was really nice. the fried grouper had some of the best cream sauce I ever tasted some food we thought to use improvement was the teufel crab starter and the picadillo was somehow bland and dry for us. Anyway, we would come back sometime!
Great Cuban food!We had a late lunch. We were seated quickly and served within a reasonable amount of time.Family oriented atmosphere with a cool vibe. Plenty of room for a small group. Very affordable.House made Sangria w/sugar rim was my favorite part. It was mildly sweet and very tasty.Cuban sandwich was good and met our expectations. Chicken mojo was a bit dry for my preference, but it still good. I think it really depends on who’s in the kitchen preparing the food. It’s easy to slightly overcook chicken breast, especially if it’s been marinated in a citrus brine.I asked for a side of dipping sauce for my chips and also put some on my mojo chicken sandwich. They brought out a small homemade salad dressing. It was good.Spanish potatoes are not the kind that have been cubed and cooked with sofrito red sauce. They are a house made potato chip w/a sofrito blend seasoning.Restaurant appeared to be clean. Bathrooms could’ve been a bit cleaner. All in all, we had a good experience and would return with other guests.
Never a disappointment. Service always good as wee as the food and their Sangria is always a hit. Had a friend visiting and since she had not been before we introduced her to authentic Cuban food, she loved it.
Nice and clean restaurant. This is a one time visit, they charge extra for everything 35 for lettuce .35 for tomatoes if you order a sandwich and $2.00 for chips). The food was just ok. The steak sandwich didn’t have any flavor. Not authentic Cuban rice and beans. The Ropa Vieja was good. The portions were ok for the price.
