Radcliffe Fish - Rushcliffe

Cooked fresh to order. So good I couldn’t wait till I got home to eat them! Chips were absolutely delicious, perfect amount of vinegar.

Consistently grim, burnt over cooked chips, at high prices. Disappointing! Must turn a blind eye to the quality.

Absolutely disgusting. Fish covered in oil and chips were rubbish not like a chip shop. Spent over £20 for two people and we both felt sick. Would rather they just left Radcliffe and let someone better take the space.

Travelling though Radcliffe which I usually do I decided to stop for some chips and as they’ve been in the past they were absolutely terrible they were soggy falling apart on the fork some of them were hard and chewy and really disgusting. The oil that the chips were cooked in tasted rancid. Now I’ve stopped at this chip shop several times in the past and they’ve always been terrible chips. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but this time I decided to leave a review. I also brought a kebab several months ago which in my opinion was very overpriced and for what I payed for with my hard earned cash was very, very underfilled. Lots of salad but very stingy with the meat. I think your potato supplier doesn’t like you from reading the reviews of your chips shop you should perhaps give it up and let someone who knows what there doing take over. Disgusting

In the past the food has been nice but recently it’s really touch and go what you get, especially on a Friday night. We have the same order every time the only time I ever deviated, I got a cold (in the middle) veggie burger and was told, we cook them from frozen and they’re difficult to keep warm in winter! Usually, I order scampi, half of the time they forget the tartare sauce even though my partner always asks them. Tonight it was the last straw and my partner rang to complain. He was told very rudely by the manager that it’s complimentary and not an important part of the meal anyway! It’s important to me, scampi is quite dry without the tartare sauce. Why offer something if you’re not going to give it to the customer? My partner orders the same kebab each time, with all the salad but no cabbage and tomato. Most of the time it’s incorrect, Once, the only salad he got was cabbage and tomato. On this occasion, he was offered a complimentary kebab. We are fed up with our order being wrong. The staff are young and inexperienced and the adults are rude. We’ve always been regular customers and we like to support locally wherever possible but I’d prefer to drive further afield than ever set foot in here again.
