Beautiful cozy jewel of a restaurant in egham. since coming for years and eating is never disappointed. I would go back every day, just for another help of the pear, chocolate amaretto trifle like concoction the pracht from their dessert menu, which on the menu the last two places I gedimt there. a great place for a cozy date.

If they are looking for reasonable trips traditionally cooked meals served in a warm friendly atmosphere, then bar in egham should fit the bill. the exterior of the building looks very Victorian to me, while inside they have a good mix of antique and modern furniture. a strange choice of combination, but it's really good together.

This is one of my favourite restaurants…brilliant atmosphere, delicious food and good staff especially Izzy who is the life and soul of the place very energetic efficient and charming. I would normally give 5 stars but tonight my sweet potato and chickpea curry wasn’t the same dish I had previously eaten, very few chick peas too much mango not as tasty ….my husband’s steak was perfect.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Bar 163. I visited with my wife and our two-year-old child, and we were impressed by the outstanding hospitality and delicious food. This restaurant is a hidden gem, with the perfect ambiance created by the candles, lighting, and seating arrangements. The food quality was excellent, and the staff were extremely friendly. We are already making plans to host our work Christmas party at Bar 163.

I live locally but hadn't visited for a little while so decided to visit last night and so glad we did! The food was excellent such a generous serving of tempura prawns and the katsu curry was, not only beautifully/imaginatively presented as well as using impeccable ingredients, but it was also a really large size with so much chicken! The two ladies working last night were very attentive and friendly, it was lovely for our dog to be welcomed and the interior was so cosy with the imaginative decor and lovely candles we will 100% be back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend!
