The Funky Fish Inn - RUNAWAY BAY

What a great fish chip shop, tonight welcomed by an amazing young girl! full energy with a massive smile, made my day! Oil was clean and food tasting fresh, definitely recommend this place!

The wait time at this restaurant is consistently long; I waited about 25 minutes just for chips. The person at the counter was friendly, but the staff member making the food was quite rude and abrupt. I cannot recommend this place.

This place is disappointing due to its cleanliness and food quality. I wish I had read the reviews beforehand. They clearly lack the knowledge to properly prepare fresh fish and chips. The food was terrible, featuring stale items like the potato skins, uneven sausages, and unappetizing crumbs. The chips were decent but overly salted, making them the only somewhat edible part of our order. I can't imagine how they manage to stay in business with such poor food quality.

Sooo good omg best burger I’ve had in forever. Sweetest lady behind the counter, super friendly and was more than happy to cook the steak for less time for me. Happy days!

This is my favorite spot for fish and chips! The experience is made even better by the incredible lady who is usually working when I visit. Tonight, as we arrived, we noticed the open sign was off. She came outside and explained that it had been a slow night but was more than happy to turn the fryers back on for us. She even offered for us to stay in our warm car while we waited, and then brought our fish and chips to us! Fantastic service and delicious food! Thank you!
