The second meal we received had undercooked chicken, which was unacceptable. To make matters worse, all the main courses arrived five minutes apart from each other. Finally, the bill was incorrect, and we were overcharged. I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant.
The nearly empty restaurant during peak hours should have been a red flag. I found myself having to ask for service multiple times. To make matters worse, half of the menu items were unavailable, along with many drinks. The food presentation was lacking, and the taste was overshadowed by the inexperienced junior waitstaff, who seemed untrained in providing attentive customer care.
My overall experience at the restaurant was quite disappointing. The mobile app was not user-friendly and lacked descriptions for the menu items, which made it challenging to make a choice. I ended up having to ask a waiter for physical menus. The service was also very slow; we ordered four drinks, but only two of them arrived. We had to approach the bar to inquire about the missing drinks, and only then were the others prepared. Additionally, I was informed that Coca-Cola was out of stock, so I had to choose a different beverage. This information should definitely be included in the app. The drinks were also overpriced. It seemed like the restaurant was understaffed, as the employees appeared stressed and overwhelmed, whether they were at the bar, on the floor, or in the kitchen. While the concept of having a food bar is appealing, it doesn’t make sense to operate with such minimal staff in one kitchen, especially when the menu is so extensive—it ultimately affects the quality of service.
Service was shocking. Coffee was cold and sent back. Orders were mixed up and sent back. Would be a nightmare for allergy sufferers. Told we couldn’t have anything from the bar as the bartender hadn’t arrived. Later when chef came to serve our drinks, multiple wines were not available. No one checked to see if our meals were eventually ok. We were not offered further drinks when glasses were empty. Table was not cleared when we had finished eating and we were not offered dessert or teas coffees. All the while the manager and waitress stood chatting across the pass to the kitchen staff. The place was empty and I now understand why. Will never return as food barely passable and staff not interested in providing good customer service.
