Infrequently I buy coffee just to remind myself why I make my own at home. I ordered a Large sugar-free vanilla soy latte, my go-to for decades when hanging out in airports waiting for flights. No sugar-free vanilla, but about a dozen other flavors. No big. I picked sugar-free caramel substitute. Sticker Shock 7!!! Plus 1 tip!!! Yikes! But hey, I was going to enjoy a rare treat. Drink arrived in a half-full medium cup! But hey, rare treat, right? Foam disappeared within seconds. But, hey, rare.... Soon returned for a refill of just light roast, but they only had dark roast, but hey.... I finally drew the line when a refill was 3.00!! Seriously? No way! Keep your dark roast!! I don't care if the ambiance includes music, friendly service, and comfortable chairs, I have all that at home!
