The Horns (rugeley)

Found this place by chance on a Saturday lunchtime. Comfortable inside but almost deserted. Terrace overlooks the car park and only one sunshade on a baking hot day. Friendly service. min (ish) wait for food which was a simple order in an empty pub. Sandwichs advertised as being on foccacia were on plain sliced white bread, in one case rather stale plain white bread. My son (who eats anything) left half his scampi saying it wasn't up to much). The beer was good, (Pedigree and Abbot). On the whole rather dissapointing, if in the area again would seek somewhere else.

I recently stopped by for lunch at this restaurant and had a terrible experience. It took a long time for our meals to arrive, and when they did, the spicy bean burger was cold and the fish was greasy. The service was also poor. I will not be returning to this place and believe it is in need of a major improvement. Overall, my experience was very disappointing.

Went on sunday table booked for starter came at Main meal came at people could not eat meal cold food.the staff seemed to have no idea about customer relations very poor service they did give a refund on the cold meals we still spent over pound will not be going there again.

Dropped into the Horn’s Inn for lunch purely on spec. We had been on a family outing nearby and just followed our nose to the nearest pub.Car parking was plentiful, the pub is quite large and surprisingly, on a Saturday lunchtime, almost completely empty. The interior is comfortable, sofas in the lounge and service was friendly although a bit slow given how quiet it was. The beer was good (Pedigree/Abbott). This was a scorching day and there was only one sun-shade on the terrace, which overlooked to car park.Food was a disappointment. After a day at Go Ape, we were thankful to find this pub and we are very pleased! The server greeted us, gave great recommendations, and we enjoyed drinks and snacks while waiting for our order. The interior of the pub was lovely, with a great atmosphere, but the standout was the friendly staff. We would definitely come back to this place (with a functioning car) and appreciated the delicious food options. Thank you!
