The hosts of this hotel, Wilhelm and Sissi Heymach make sure that everything is exactly as it should be.

My third visit here since 2008. Wilhelm and Sissi are wonderful. Exceptionally accommodating.. We were over two hours late arriving for breakfast, and they kept the buffet open for us. All of the staff are friendly and professional.All of our group meals are pre-ordered and paid for. While delicious, I can't say how good the menu selections are. Easy walking distance to Drosselstrasse and the river boat tours.Other hotels in town may be as good, but I'll always select this one if I have a choice.

A wonderful meal, in a wonderful historic setting which was marred by the arrival of a Viking Cruise led by their entertainments team who thought they were the only people there.....stay on your ship and leave Rudesheim and the Rudesheimer Hof Restaurant to serve good food to deserving customers!!!

Ok we are biased. We have be coming here at least 3 times a year since 1985, and honestly you will not find a more friendly family-run hotel in Germany. Sissi and Wilhelm have carried on from the great work started way back by Wilhelms parents, and they have now turned their very traditional restaurant into a gourmet paradise in the Rhine Valley, having won many awards in the last 10 years. Staff are young, friendly and very knowledgeable about all the dishes and more importantly for us, the wines. We started with a brilliant sparkling wine from a winery just at the top of the road, the Solter winery. You would never have known it was not champagne. 2 very unusual and original main meals in a town full of tourist food like schnitzels and bratwurst: Caramelized veal liver in Balsamic, and Cod in Macadamia crust with coconut rice and curry, both dishes cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. Another superb wine from a local winery Trenz, a Riesling with just a touch of sweetness which went so well with the sweetness in both meals. No room for dessert just another couple of glasses of wine to finish off a wonderful meal, and excellent value at 50 Euros including 6 glasses of wine. They also have a lovely open air terrace which is just beautiful on a warm summers evening. As always, we will be back very soon to see what is new on the menu!

This restaurant surpassed our expectations by a long way. Our schnitzels and other traditional dishes were beautifully cooked, very generously portioned and attractively presented. The desserts were equally bountiful, and the local wine was just as good. Everything was served in the friendliest manner. We were made to feel really welcome.Having eaten there once, we came back for another meal at the first opportunity.
