This is a nice restaurant with traditional food. The asparagus were very tasty and well prepared. The price quality ratio is very good.

I live in Rudolstadt, a little charming town in Thuringia.If you wanna go for real Thuringia food like the famous dumplings or roulade or deer or trout or fresh white asparagus in respective season...you will find always best quality choice here.The prices are reasonable, the service is personal and you will meet the locals there. If you wanna go for lunch on weekend, do not forget to book your table.Furthermore they organize nice events like public viewing during soccer world championship, one weekend "Hoffest" with also famous "Bratwurst" and "Rostbrätel" from the grill...really yummy!The interior is well maintained and remembers to the good old time.We go there frequently and can really recommend the food and the location.

Very good house kitchen. Typical German or Thuringian cuisine. From Rouladen to Lammkeule to the Schnitzel everything was represented. Every week there are reasonable Thüringer clubs. A reservation is really recommended. Medium-sized guest room, very friendly, human service. own beer garden in which the in-house Hoffest also takes place. The good wine list of Hessian wines is really recommended!
