Smoke Sessions Barbecue - Royse City

Definitely my favorite place in North Texas for BBQ!! And their new restaurant space is AWESOME!! Great outdoor area with games, indoor space is wide open, large bar with very good choices for local brews ON TAP!

I tried the Brisket Mushroom Swiss Burger. I thought it was going to be chopped brisket, but it was a patty. It was good for the most part, but the mushrooms appeared to be canned and not freshly sautéed. Adding the BBQ sauce added more flavor so I say besure to add it. I did not enjoy the fried pies. They were quite greasy. Also, the banana pudding tasted like it was preparedaccording to the box and nothing else added and the apples in the apple pie were too big for my liking, but the taste was prettygood. Really enjoyed the beans fries! I'll give it another shot so I can try a few other menu items. Phenomenal customerservice though and love the setup of the place. Plenty of room to not be on top of each other as well as outside seating. Thebuilding looks like an old firehouse so you can't miss it!

I went to Smoke Sessions today in Royse City and it was my first time. The venue is large and open with seating inside and outside with plenty of parking. The workers were helpful and kind as it was my first time they gave me time to look at the menu.They had a good selection of meats, burgers, and sides. They also had a full bar right in the front if you choose to drink. Iwent for the brisket and ribs with a side of Mac and Cheese. First off the brisket was tender and flavorful and I went with the?more fat on the brisket option?. The ribs were good but nothing life changing. The Mac and cheese kind of tasted like aParmesan garlic Mac and cheese which worked for me. Overall I enjoyed the food and atmosphere but thought the prices were alittle high but that?s how BBQ goes! I would definitely go back!

Smoke Sessions is our very favorite BBQ place, no competition! We use it as an excuse for a date night as often as possible. Everything on the menu is so good ,especially the brisket, brisket beans, and smoked mac and cheese, but lately we have beentrying out all the brisket burgers... YUM! Also, I recently tried the chocolate pie and ice cream. Won't be the last time I dothat. You honestly cannot go wrong. Great food, friendly staff, and a nice outdoor space to let the kids (if you bring them run and play while you sip a beverage (we enjoy the bar selections as well . :

Nice atmosphere and the food was delicious. We like to eat before the crows so 5pm on Friday was perfect timing. The bar drinks were really good and the adult rootbeer float was amazing. Only negative is we prefer bbq sauce options. The one on the tableswas too tangy and soy sauce for our tastes. We will definitely be back just will bring our own sauce.
