Stickman Brews - Royersford

We used to really enjoy visiting Stickman, both with and without our kids. The restaurant was always family-friendly, offering games and a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, that has changed. We won't be going back. They've been experiencing some changes, with limited food options and staff, yet we still made an effort to visit weekly. However, tonight our son was made to feel like an inconvenience while playing with games that were clearly meant for children. The place was almost empty, so we expected them to appreciate our business, but instead, we left early feeling unwelcome. Never again.

I visited this place before the Corey Feldman event to relax and have some good conversations. It’s a fantastic spot with truly excellent beer. I particularly enjoyed their Tiramisu Stout called Mafia Movies, but every beer I sampled was impressive. The food was outstanding too—the smash burger was incredible! I had a great time there and can’t wait to return to this amazing place!

I went to this local favorite with my family last night and we were extremely disappointed. My son liked his chicken cheesesteak, but the rest of our meals were hardly touched. The mac and cheese was completely lacking in flavor, bland, and tasted like it didn't even have any cheese in the sauce. The Reuben was overly fatty and chewy, as if the meat wasn't sliced properly, and the chicken nuggets were served cold. The soft pretzel was not warm either, and the beer fries were disappointing with an odd, vaguely sweet flavor. The one lager on tap was acceptable, albeit slightly skunky, but not enough to warrant taking it back to the counter. The Mimosa IPA started off well but ended with a sour taste. For a total of $100 before tip, it felt like a complete waste of money.

Checked this place out after seeing the head chef on Food Network, and the food did not disappoint! Got the honey cornbread bites with smoked whipped butter, housemade chicken nuggets in Titty Sweat BBQ Sauce, and smoked mac and cheese with pulled chicken in Kinky Sweetheart BBQ Sauce. Everything tasted great, can't wait to go back and try more of Chef Nikki's menu. Service was amazing as well!

Enjoyed very good wings, a great beer, and a cool, relaxed atmosphere. Wall of board games were a fun way to start an evening. Bartender was invested in serving the perfect beer, bar clientele enjoying a fabulous evening chatting together. Definitely worth a trip.
