I especially enjoyed the burger, onion rings, and cauliflower. The atmosphere was unique with all the house-made beer around me. Even though I didn't try the beer, the apple wine was delicious. Unfortunately, they do not have vegetable milk for coffee. They also have arcade games and a DJ playing music on old vinyl records. I appreciated the table service for food orders and payment, but we had to order drinks at the bar. It would have been more convenient if drinks were included with the meal when they offer table service.
The restaurant offers a good variety of typical options you would expect. There is a full section on the regular menu with vegan choices. There are multiple seating areas to choose from. Although my burger was good but not exceptional, I would still return.
Big Shed is a great spot for enjoying a beer and burger. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and helpful with recommendations on their food and beer selection. The menu regularly features changing specials, either daily or weekly. The burgers I've tried have been tasty, although my last beef patty was more rare in some areas than medium. The dirty fries are a standout with a delicious cheese sauce and a variety of hot sauces to sample. Their dark ale is described as toasty and hoppy. My only complaint would be the baskets used to serve the food, as they don't do a good job of containing any mess.
This was my first visit to this restaurant, and I have to say it was the best burger I have ever had. The cherry popped drink was also really good. I will definitely be back. The buffalo bites were awesome, and the dirty fries were delicious.
