The salmon on fire roll is undoubtedly one of the best sushi rolls I've ever had. As a self-proclaimed sushi enthusiast, I can confidently say that the flavor in their sauces elevates this roll to a whole new level. While many places serve a bland, watered-down “eel sauce,” theirs is exceptional. I also tried their spicy mayo on the side, and it’s genuinely spicy and delicious. One thing to keep in mind is to add an extra 10-15 minutes to the estimated food preparation time because you might find yourself frustrated if you arrive right on schedule. Plus, parking can be a bit challenging. However, once you navigate these minor inconveniences, the high quality of their sushi makes it all worthwhile.

As a very discerning sushi enthusiast, I can confidently say they really know how to do it right here. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, and they pay great attention to detail. I'll definitely be returning!

This is truly the best sushi I've had in a long time. The staff was exceptionally courteous, and the wait times were excellent. I would highly recommend it—definitely planning to go back soon!

This is a fantastic spot for delicious and affordable sushi. I was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of options, especially their impressive selection of vegan rolls. The ordering process was a bit tricky since some items were listed solely on the menu while others were only on the sushi order form. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the service was friendly. My only major complaint is that it was quite chilly inside. I understand it’s around 10 degrees outside lately, but I’d prefer to be able to take off my coat while dining.

We ordered takeout using some Downtown Royal Oak dollars we had, and it was absolutely worth it. The sushi was outstanding, and the staff even brought it out to our car so we didn’t have to go inside. We also paid over the phone, which was convenient. If I could give ten stars, I absolutely would!
