The Avenue - Royal Oak

I visited this restaurant for the first time on a Sunday at the end of October with a friend for breakfast. I ordered biscuits and gravy, an over-medium egg, sausage, and hash browns. Although it was pretty busy, my food arrived surprisingly quickly. I have to mention that everyone was friendly, and the place runs like a well-oiled machine, from the quick coffee and water refills to the attentive service. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. When I settled the bill, the woman thanked us for coming, which was a nice touch.

I placed a large takeout order, and it was handled flawlessly. The staff member even included extra biscuits and gravy as a precaution in case there were any issues. The food was delicious and served warm. I will definitely return!

The best service I've ever experienced, without a doubt! The waitress truly restored my faith in humanity. The food was incredible, and the service was outstanding. This has become my new favorite diner!

Pretty good food. Mostly clean dining area but the floors were pretty dirty, especially under the large round tables. The waitstaff was very friendly but don't seem to be aware that their conversations can be heard by customers. Not normally a big deal but we heard a pretty detailed story while cashing out that would offend some. With the exception of the end of our visit, it was an overall good experience. Would eat here again. Try the chicken noodle soup!

We had the turkey club. Who knew that a restaurant still serves hand carved turkey breast? Very impressed. If you love McDonald's fries, and who doesn't, they are alike. Can't wait to go back.
