Freshii - Royal Oak

My friend and I were attending a show in Royal Oak on 6/20. We had about 30 minutes before doors opened and we hadn’t eaten so we decided to cruise over to Freshii. Neither one of us had been in before. I was pretty unhappy with the customer service of the person at front. She kind of looked at us like we were stupid when we took the time to go over the menu, obviously since we had never been there we needed to look it over. And later when i wanted a cup of water there was no employees to be found. My friend even walked out and back in to chime to door thinking it would alert them, but no response. He even tried calling them and they ignored him. Now i worked in customer service for many years. It’s only been in the last few months that I no longer work in a retail or food service setting. So i typically take the side of the employee as I know customers are actually not always right (usually wrong and annoying about it). And to be honest, if I had not gotten food poisoning from my spicy buffalo bowl I wouldn’t have bothered even writing this review. But getting home and becoming violently ill really sent me. I did notice and pick out what seemed like a bad piece of lettuce and that should have told me to just stop eating but I thought it was probably just a piece of wilted lettuce. Regardless, it was not worth $40 plus a tip. Bad service. Bad food.

Let's just just say my experience was less then fresh(ii)..I ordered the steakhouse wrap with steak..there was no steak on the sandwich..I called..they replaced my sandwich but I regretted it terribly..it was not good..the steak was a weird soft texture and a weird off putting grey color..the smoothie was not good and watery.. not to mention the staff was not very friendly..definitely lacking in customer service.

I don’t understand the negative reviews. I have eaten lunch here dozens of times and it has always been an excellent experience.Great food, friendly staff, fast service. I highly recommend!

Purchased a Oaxaca bowl this evening, 15 minutes later and I'm violently throwing it up. Parts of the meat were cold and some lightly warmed. I called the place and thankfully they picked up and i let them know of my experience. They/she offered a free bowl. Thanks for the offer of a free bowl, I'll pass. Read the reviews folks, I would of avoided this place had I did.

Great service and friendly staff. Food is excellent and reasonably priced.
