Lolo Hawaiian Bbq - Roy

First, it's fast food. I had the Hawaiian beef. It was dry and tasted like yesterday. They charged me for a water cup! Seriously! A water cup. Too many options around for this mediocrity.Food: 3/5

Kalu pork was about the only redeeming quality unfortunately. The bbq beef was rubbery and definitely not cooked enough. But you couldn't tell by color because it's been marinated for far too long and completely soaked through the meat. That's probably partial fault of the texture of the beef too. Bbq and Teri chicken was OK, but also just a weird texture. Teri sauce was pretty yummy. Just seems like low quality meat and not properly prepared. Considering the price and the quality of food, definitely won't be coming back. Really was hoping for more.

I didn't know what to expect going here for first time. Thought it would be more like fast food but it is more like fast casual but fast food seating. The food was surprisingly tasty. The Hawaiian chicken was excellent and quite a large serving. Came with two large scoops of rice and salad. No complaints about the food. Definitely worth a try.

This is one of my favorite places! I always get extra cabbage with my Kahlua pork and they have no problem with that and don't even charge me. If you're getting it To Go, make sure you get some sauces as they really add a nice touch to the meat!Food: 5/5

Award for the worst BBQ I have had in my life. Oh and the worst macaroni salad in my life. Instant regret. Bland beef and very rubbery, not edible. Very bland macaroni salad, as if noodles where thrown into a jar of bland mayo with one carrot shred. Oh but you get 2 giant scoops of bland white rice, and yes somehow the white rice is extra bland. Good grief. Owner said they cannot credit my account because it is my fault for taking the food and leaving. Should I have tasted the food before leaving? Chelsea asked if can bring the food back, 20 min there and 20 min back, to bring this bland food back? I said no. Chelsea promptly hung up on me. Great Job!! Avoid this place. Double regret, thinking that the owner or manager would take care of a new customer. I will telling every single one of my 2500 coworkers.
