Roxbury Diner - Roxbury Township

It's the classic NJ diner experience. Big cases of sweets when you walk in, really good coffee, great onion rings, and an A+ sandwich game! We were staying in a hotel down the road and the staff recommended the Roxbury, now I do too!

First time there in 30 years. Drove up from Florid to visit my dad in hospice at Morristown hospital. On our way back to my parents house after visiting hours, we got off the Mt. Arlington exit to see what our options were and decided to stop at the Roxbury diner. Thinking they were open 24hrs, we stopped. Not only did they tell the kitchen to stay open, they pleasantly gave us mid-day service. They made us very comfortable and felt right at home. Kudos to the diner's management and staff. We will be sure go back on our next visit north and do highly recommend going there for good service and good food.

Lunch was very good. Chicken soup, chicken tenders for the kids, mashed potatoes, mozzarella sticks, a salad with a scoop of tuna. Be specific if you don’t want a mix of iceberg lettuce and make sure you get the sides food comes with. Four pieces of chicken fingers were large but didn’t get the side fries. Everyone was satisfied. I would recommend.

I've been going to the Roxbury diner for at least 10 years now and it has always been quality food and service. I've had a number of different menu items and each one is always as good as you hoped. The wait staff is friendly and prompt. Prices are going up but that's across the board. If you haven't tried this diner yet definitely give it a shot.

Great menu and newly renovated. This is one of our top places to grab a meal. Polite staff and you get seated immediately. Food service is accurate and fast. I asked for my Taylor ham medium-well and it was cooked perfectly. A lot of times I find small details get missed but they always get our order correct. Consistency and taste are always on point here. Highly recommend!
