Lilly's Gourmet Pasta Express

I never write reviews but this little restaurant is SO good. I live very close to the restaurant and I would always walk by it but I never felt drawn to it. However, I recently decided to give this place a try and I have been EVERY day since I found it. The food quality, flavor, and service are very good. I am moving in a few days and I am so sad that I didn’t find this gem sooner. If you have any hesitations I hope that this review helps! :

There was a group licking and sucking their finger behind us while we were ordering and when we all got home we understood why.Undoubtedly the best pasta I’ve tried in Boston besides my own (yeah I’m like that). We had the Cajun Alfredo pasta with shrimp and Chicken Parmesan pasta. Everyone enjoyed their food very much.I’ll be back.

This place used to be great, but has recently steeply declined in quality, both of the food and the service. Now they no longer even offer the option to custom order pasta, which in my mind completely negates so much of what kept me coming back for years. I sincerely hope they get their head back on straight and go back to what made them great, because this was the last straw for me, very disappointing.

This used to be one of the best places to eat in the area. But they took away the best thing going for them. No more customizable pasta entrees? Only one pesto dish on the menu now? And for what? More expensive and limited options? Heartbreaking.Food: 3/5
