Depot Southern Bistro Llc - Roxboro

This is my first time I tried this restaurant and I was blown away. the quality of food is above what is normally found in this area. that's not a fast food. it is fresh and carefully prepared. everything came fresh from the kitchen and it shows. the bounty balls were hot with a crispy outer crust with a mixture of interesting ingredients and a perfectly seasoned remoulade sauce. I wonder if it will be different every time? the order contained four large balls. a meal for one and a good appetizer for four. a special on this day were oyster rockefeller. also incredible! the oysters were not over boiled and there was a beautiful brown tie up. with a sponge ball this is a good lunch. I can't remember the names of the burger, but it had fried jalapenos, cheese grill sauce. a huge burger. I ate the half and took the rest home as left. the side of the chips was freshly made, hot and crispy. perfect. they also have a good selection of crafts and AB/InBev bier. I tried a drowned red egg-pilsner and a wicked weed ipa. both were perfectly cooled and had a real crunchy taste (clean line ****). they also have a large selection of other beers in dose bottles and I plan to return to dinner and try a bottle of their tunnel creek buried.

The atmosphere of this place is so beautiful, but the quality of the food was very disappointing. we waited for 90 min for our dinner and were one of the few customers in the resturaunt. the homemade potato chips came wet and soggy out and our salmon content was small and badly seasoned. my salatbart had wet salat with water that accumulated at the bottom of the darms. the appetizers were tasteful. our bill was almost $200 for a family of six and I just didn't feel that food quality was worth the price.

A hidden gem in roxboro. the menu is comparable to upscale restaurants. ties are unique and fascinating. especially enjoyed the blackened salmon as well as the delicious crab cakes. the gator bites have not yet tried, but I look forward to trying. I love the burger with fried jalapeños.

Eating was great! so expensive but worth it. everything was cooked to perfection! will return definitiw.

Excellent service! Great atmosphere! Absolutely delicious food! I had scallops with mushroom risotto.
