To our surprise, Top Dog had already taken Myungrang's place. I love the self ordering kiosks provided and they were easy to learn how to use them. After much deliberation, we decided to buy a Pepper Jack n Hotdog, Mozzerella n Hotdog, and a Elote Dog.The person on staff today was quite kind. Thanks to the monitor in the store, everyone could wait outside and see the progress of their order which is a nice feature. Additionally, you can receive texts for the status of your order if you'd like to stay in your car (if you join the rewards related to GrubHub).Since these are made to order, it did take time but it was not too crowded at the time. The hotdogs were fresh and hot when we ate in the car (I don't recommend adding sugar if you eat in your car btw, as delicious as it is, the mess isn't worth it haha). The pepper jack cheese is a huge upgrade from plain mozerella, and I would come back to top dog just for pepper jack! I love the extra kick it has.Compared to other Korean hot dog chains, Myungrang and Chungchun, Topdog would be somewhere in between. Topdog definitely hit the craving out of the ball park, but Myungrang still has my heart.
Craving Korean style corn dogs, and this place was good last time so this place is our go to!You can order on the kiosks or with the cashier. No line so food was ready in 5 minutes!Ordered the K style chicken loaded fries, All pepper Jack cheese dog addtl potatoes added, and Elote dog. Sauces chosen were jalapeño ranch, Top dog, and Habanero salsa.Simply pepper Jack dog with potatoes added was my favorite! Nice and simple, perfect taste, flavor, and crunch. Elote dog was tasty as well, a bit tangy w the red sauce that tastes a bit like chamoy. It 's half hot dog, with half cheese on the bottom. The hotdog is of basic quality, the cheese is tasty and has a great pull. The fries were nice and crispy, but halfway through, all that red tangy sauce went to the bottom and soaked our fries. It was just wayy too saucy... chicken was ok, varied in size. Seating is under construction outside, but indoor seating all the way to the right in the shared food court is usually available
Small shop in the cute aesthetic corner in the yes plaza. (The outdoor seating is getting renovated atm but there's still a few indoor spots)The cheese dogs here are so fresh the cheese inside are melted perfect for a cheese pull. (Where you take a bite and see how far the cheese stretches. Get the sugar on top it's like a signature it may sound weird to some people but give it a try it's so good sucha game changer The kchicken&fries are good as well it consist of 4/5 chicken wings on top of curly fries
Haven't had a Korean corn dog for sooo long. usually it's so greasy and bleh but the mozz cheese hot dog from top dog was tasty!! hit the spot after a trading event. I also tried some of my cousin's hot Cheeto encrusted one and he was a big fan. nice crunch, nacho cheese, and artificial spice! get the honey mustard for your sauce choice too
Not the best Korean hotdog. I've had fries were called and tasted old. Not sure I would try them again.
