This is the best mala xiang guo I've ever had in California! I highly recommend it. I ordered the small pot along with several side dishes, and it turned out to be a generous amount—enough for two people!

LOCATION: Yes Plaza PARKING: VERY HARD TO FIND PARKING. I came on a Friday night around 7 PM, and the lot was full. Parking spots are also small. WHAT WE ORDERED: Medium Dry Pot $26.99) We chose mild spice, garlic base, and pork spare ribs as our choice of meat. This can feed 3/4 people! I used to always go to Sizzling Pot King when I was in San Diego, and when I heard there was a restaurant that had dry pot, I had to get my fix! The taste is highly similar to SD's, although Qiwei tasted saltier. Prices are on par as well. We had a bit of a hard time communicating with the servers because most spoke Chinese. Their menu and receipts are also in Chinese, and I, as a Vietnamese person, would've had a lot of trouble if I didn't come with my Chinese friends LOL. The menu was also a bit confusing because we had to circle what we wanted? We didn't know, so the server just circled it for us when she came around. I am now looking for a restaurant specializing in dry pot in OC because I cannot keep driving to Rowland Heights.

At least don’t order their bbq items the cook who cook the bbq items smoke and I saw him dump the cigarette ash in the cooking area who knows if he has throw any cigarette butts in it. It’s a safety and health concern

I highly recommend coming here for dinner! They’re famous for their dry pot, which is served in a family style – everything is pre-cooked in a large pot. Depending on the size you choose, if you order the medium, you can select one type of meat; if you opt for the large, you can pick two meats. Since there were six of us, we decided to order both the large and the medium, which provided more than enough food for everyone. Rice is ordered by the bowl, which pairs perfectly with the dishes. We selected catfish and chicken cartilage, choosing both the hot sauce and the garlic sauce. The hot sauce has a wonderful Szechuan spice that was incredibly tasty, but I particularly enjoyed the garlic sauce, especially when we added noodles to it. The noodles were chewy and absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to return and try it again with different meats!
