Picture American favorites like pork chops or steak with a delightful Chinese twist. I highly recommend the black pepper steak if you’re unsure what to order. Non-Chinese guests can comfortably choose any American or Chinese dish you can think of! Don’t hesitate; I’m confident they will accommodate you even if it's not on the menu. By the way, it's worth noting that Maxim is OPEN ON SUNDAYS. Although Sunday hours aren’t listed on Yelp, I visited yesterday and they were open, although I'm not sure about the exact hours. Be sure to bring cash; however, you can use a credit card for orders over $25. Since the items are quite affordable, if you’re with two people, cash should suffice, but if you have a party of three or more, you can use a credit card. Must-tries include the baked pork chop, spare ribs with black bean sauce, fun white noodles, salt and pepper shrimp, and the pork chop and steak with black pepper sauce (which comes with two pork chops and two steaks). Highly recommended! If you're a picky eater when it comes to Chinese food, this may not be the best option, but keep in mind the price and location. Prices have remained consistent for at least the past 10 years, unlike gas prices, so enjoy and stop complaining!
The beef chow mein and beef chow fun here are the best I've ever had, especially the Hong Kong style. Their chili oil is also one of the best I've tasted. I've tried these two dishes in Asia and throughout North America, and I can confidently say this place is the best in the U.S.
