Several places were closed at the time – it was a weekend afternoon, I think – when we wanted a drink, but we found this little place a short distance away from the central area. Tables were tucked away under some street porticos, which provided a welcome respite from the sun. The lady proprietor was friendly, even though our Italian was virtually non-existent, and we enjoyed a relaxing coffee.
