Arctic Snowhotel Glass Igloos

This review will be about the food in their restaurant. We tried the reindeer and the salmon. They smoke the salmon on a fire pit in the middle of the restaurant, as seen in a picture. The salmon is imported from Norway. I had to order another serving because it was so delicious, soft and clean (not to mention, perfectly smoked). The reindeer meat was a beautiful experience: the meat is soft fat and delicate. I expected a earthy taste, but there was no one. I want to try a reindeer burger! The restaurant has a peaceful ambience! We were hypnotized by the wood burning in the fire pit. My pictures are not the best because I did not want to ruin the experience that stands up and try the “perfect shot”. We were in the Igloos! You're cozy.

The experience of staying in a glass igloo was amazing, but the website was very misleading and also important information. the website advertises that the glass roof is heated and will melt snow and ice, but after we came to the igloo, the recipeist told us that this will only happen if it is not snowy and snow is not predicted in the next hours. so our night was not able to see from the dach because snow covered all windows. if we had known that this would have been a possibility that would have been in order, but the website advertises that it melts snow and ice. a few smaller complains: the shower has only 25 minutes hot water for a 2 person igloo or 50 for a family igloo and it takes 3 4 hours to heat. also here please contact the website. Apparently they offer their sauna showers for free, but this was offered to us only after check-out. the heating is not controlled in the room. they activate the heat for them, but they must go outside the reception area to change the heat temperature. breakfast was good, but not many options, we have full, but I expected a lot more fits the price of this room. overall the experience of staying in a igloo was amazing, but have exact expectations if it snowed that they can not see and the other pleasants are not what they would expect for a hotel this price.

This was a unique experience that I definitely recommend. but I only give three stars because of the lack of shower. they can only shower in the evening and even then the showers are completely open. it hardly costs to install shower curtains to get the nude at least private sphere. please repair

I wish I had given this a 5-star rating, but it just didn't hit the sign for me. You need to drag baggage in the snow into your room, which makes sense, but for the price I think I have a service for it. The igloo was really warm, I asked the reception 3 times to adjust the temperature, but it never changed. The room was not 100% clean, there was a wrong nail from an earlier guest on the ledge/window above the bed. The mini bar refrigerator in the room is really loud. The lights of the smoke detector disturb the view, they reflect the glass. I understand that this is a security feature, but I think maybe it can be put into another position. The shower head drips. Overall, it was possible to work for a better guest experience.

This hotel deserves 5 stars! The service is excellent, Nina, Maria, Nora and everyone else were extremely friendly and made our stay unforgettable. The hotel is a bit far from City Center but transportation is always available and for free within the stay! The food in Kota was WOW. We got to see Aurora clearly on many days during our stay!
