Amarillo, Rovaniemi

This place had such an amazing atmosphere. eating was also exciting. I ordered the garlic chicken and it was well prepared and served properly. also good taste! the service was good and the other males were polite. definitely recommend when they are in town. I spent $55usd for 2 people with drinks and meals.

The food, the service and the vibes were very good. the prices are very high. the cauliflower starter was so small and lame. the banana chip star was also small, but very cool. the vegan burger was one of the best I had, but it was spicy and it was not mentioned on the menu. they also gave us nachos on the house, which was really nice.

Just before we had to end this mind blowing vacation, we had another shot at a local restaurant experience but who would have thought that it is nearly impossible to spontaneously get a table at a restaurant serving local food in Rovaniemi around 4pm. They were either not open yet or had a massive wait but we were on a schedule and really hungry. So our second „Finnish Restaurant Experience“ was pretty much Tex Mex. Generally, it was not a very special event but we left the place stuffed and that was what we came for. The food was good not more and not less. Interesting was their rule on alcohol where you were not allowed to order any after 5pm anymore and at 6pm sharp they remove all alcoholic beverages from the table no discussion. While this obviously is not a restaurant specific rule, it was quite interesting when they came round and took all the glass no matter whether they were empty or not. So I guess we still had a bit of a local experience anyways.

Food was excellent, tooooo spicy, really a Mexican style. Decoration looks amazing and the staff is friendly. The service es fast and the food is not expensive.

It was good, but expensive and little food. If you are hungry not a good idea. We order boneless and they give us 2 for 5 euros, everything else was above 20 euros. And we wait for the boneless like 20 or 30 minutes, the girl tell us a about the waiting before but we thought that the boneless will be faster
