The Naked Bird - Route Gateway

We place big orders for our big family. Everyone really liked their food. I wouldn’t know, because mine was not in the order. This seems to happen frequently around here, especially since it is a lot of trouble to go back and get what was left out. At least it was expensive.

I just don't get this place. Went there twice when it first opened and didn't really like it. Heard it had been updated with a new menu so we decided to try it. It was fine but nothing special. The menu seemed pretty much as I remembered it. Meh

Hadn't been to Bareburger in quite some time. Was disappointed with the four ounce burgers as the standard Hard to order them medium rare. Also, no real American cheese or cheddar cheese available. Service outstanding, ambiance quite nice and plenty of menu choices.

Food took 45min to receive cold food. We had to get our own menus, forks, napkins and high chair. Waitress only came to get our order, deliver food and present the check. She didn't seem to have ever eaten there before or ever seen the menu. It was $75 (before tip) for 2 adults and 3 kids meals no alcohol, no soda. We had a better dining experience at Wawa later that weekend.

I prefer a menu with more appetizer options; but, we were very satisfied with our choices. We ordered a Loaded BLT sandwich, a Turkey Burger, and a side of fries. Both sandwiches were hearty and delicious and the fries appeared to be freshly cut and absolutely delicious! This was our first visit so we weren't familiar with the layout of the restaurant and we only discovered after we were settled at our booth that there was covered outdoor seating, which we would have opted for if it had been offered to us. Overall, though, it was a very pleasant experience.
