I assumed it was really good, so I had to check it out myself. My partner and I both ordered a couple cocktails from the very short and basic menu. They were below average. If you are looking for a good drink, I'd highly suggest other restaurants in Rouse Hill. When our food arrived, the disappointment continued. I ordered the seafood pasta, which wasn't completely terrible, but the important elements were definitely lacking. The pasta was fine (you can't really mess that up), but the seafood was terrible. It was badly overcooked. My partner ordered the mixed platter (may have another name, but I cant recall it right now), but again, it was terrible. (Sad face). We had ordered the steak medium, but it was VERY well done. The chicken was also extremely dry, it was very difficult to chew. We decided not to finish our meal (we probably ate about half before we called it quits) and ended up speaking to the manager. The only GOOD thing about our experience was that they handled it very respectfully. We were asked if we would like to try something else, in which we denied, so they decided to massively discount our check. We really appreciated this gesture and proceeded to move on to another restaurant where we finished dinner. I'm really hoping this was just a fluke...I'm not keen on going back for dinner, but may try breakfast, as there seem to be many positive reviews about that menu.
So enjoyed our first time eating here. My husband had the Beef ribs and I had a Pizza. Treated myself to a cocktail before going to see a movie. The service was great and would definitely recommend eating here.
Dropped by for a mid afternoon lunch as I wanted something off the grill. Hadn't tried this place before so I thought I would give it a go, ordered the fried haloumi with capsicum puree and lamb cutlets for the main. Found the haloumi to be too salty, usually caused by the chef not soaking it in hot water for at least 3 hours to make it more supple and to remove the saltiness from the brine (tip from my friend's yiayia). Next up was the cutlets, looked appealing with the grill marks and sitting on top of a baked potato. Unfortunately it failed my taste buds, even though it was cooked to medium as requested, the lamb tasted like lighter fluid. I was too tired and hungry to complain so I just finished the meal anyway as I washed it down with beer between bites. If it wasn't for the company I was with, I don't think I would have been as lenient. I'll come back again to give these guys another chance and hope that I was just unlucky today due to it being a slow afternoon.
A huge menu. We got seated immediately on a Friday night. The pork was great! Service relatively quick. The only thing on the negative side, it was a little noisy.
Disappointing experience. Really more of a diner than a restaurant. Empty, waited 35min for kids pizza 40 min for our meals 6/10 service and experience 8/10 food presentation was good 6/10 food quality and taste 7/10 value for money Overall a let down.. We all left disappointed
