Chapala Fruit Cup - Round Rock

This restaurant is somewhat hidden, and if you’re not specifically looking for it, you might just walk past without noticing. Today, we decided to try it out for lunch, and we were very pleased that we did. The restaurant is small, but the tables are thoughtfully arranged to provide adequate space between them. It was busy when we arrived, yet we were able to find a seat right away. It’s worth mentioning that the place can fill up quickly due to its limited seating. Initially, I was a bit worried about the service since we had to wait over five minutes for someone to bring us the menu. However, once we placed our order, the food arrived remarkably quickly, which I really appreciated. Most importantly, the food was delicious! The Camelia plate I ordered was bursting with flavor and truly impressed me; the chicken enchiladas and Tampiqueña plate were equally amazing. Without a doubt, we will be returning to this restaurant soon.

This is a charming little mom-and-pop restaurant that offers a straightforward dining experience without any frills. It brings back memories of the places I used to visit as a kid. The food is authentically Mexican, not the Tex-Mex style you often see. While everything on the menu is delicious, what I truly love about this place is their homemade salsa verde—it’s genuinely fantastic. I highly recommend checking this spot out!

I really appreciate the staff at this restaurant; they are incredibly friendly and kind. As for vegetarian options, they offer a great selection.

The enchiladas were very good right spices and food was not cold. Homemade tortillas flour corn. The only negative not much space. We will continue to support this small business so they can grow Food: 5/5
