Time and again ingenious and delicious dishes on the menu. The cakes are also a temptation.

Very nicely located excursion place with room rental. Heavenly rest, except for a few muh tones. Beautiful ambience, large terrace, friendly service. Tastefully prepared food. Coffee and cake very good.

I was ready to eat everything in sight, having walked from Tegernsee along the lake in sweltering heat, to finally arrive at this convivial eating place. Nice terrace, shaded by umbrellas and unforgettable view of mountains and meadows. The restaurant is pretty good, but we wanted to "pig out" on their cholesterol-laden cakes and wonderful ice cream. A great variety of cakes to choose from. Of course, beer is the golden nectar in Bavaria. There is a large parking area, easily reached from Tegernsee and surrounding area. It is a secluded place, away from street noise and fumes, but well sign posted.A good place to spend a few hours enjoying the scenery.

Scenic view and very good bakery, what else do you need after a nice tour in the mountains. It is a traditional restaurant, do not expect stylish food. What they do is excellent, especially the freshly baked cakes.

We had lunch here. We found the general welcome a bit off hand, not sure why. I'm not sure we fitted their idea of their desired clientele, it all felt a bit cliquey and introverted. Fine if you're of a certain age and preferably German. Food was fine. Nice views. Wouldn't rush back.
