Gross and overpriced. Tried to get a semi-nice dinner on our first night in Rotorua. Ordered fish and chips and pork belly. Fish and chips were basically just mushy batter with not much fish. Pork belly seemed like just fried fat as there was little actual meat on the dish. Probably the worst dining experience we had in New Zealand. Very overpriced for the junk that you get.
