Nela's Kitchen - Rothesay

Though not really a place to enjoy a sit-down meal, Nela's provides a brilliant variety of healthful options for your take-away lunch or dinner . Their basic offerings change every day and come in a one-person sized package at a very reasonable price. Buddha Bowls, Jamaican Chicken, Chick Pea Curry, and a superb Pad Thai are among the offerings ... my wife and I have enjoyed several excellent meals from Nela's ... one big advantage is the no muss, no fuss of having your meal so well-prepared. On top of the great food choices, you can also get your Liquid Gold Olive Oil products there ... you really should give Nela's a try ... you won't be sorry ...

We have been buying from Nela's since they opened. We have never bought any meal that was not 100%. In fact the taste is as good as Racho Loma Clara in San Francisco de Coyote. Guanacaste, Costa Rica, no real surprise as Nela is from CR. A great addition to the area.

I wanted to try a healthy option this evening for dinner. I am glad that I chose Nellas kitchen. Had the Thai yellow curry with chickpeas and sweet potatoes. This was the most delicious thing I have had in a long time. Made fresh daily. This take out should not be overlooked

Based on reviews I read on TripAdvisor, I decided to stop in and check out Nela's Kitchen while I was visiting Rothesay. The owner was very friendly and came over immediately to introduce himself, his wife and the staff working in the kitchen. He gave me a quick run down on what was available and how to serve it all. I decided to try 1 meat and 1 vegetarian option. He gave me a sample of spiced nuts to try as well. The southwest chicken bowl was amazing. Lots of flavour and very satisfying. The rainbow bowl will be saved for tomorrow! The spiced nuts are also delicious.
