He was brilliant served us all really quickly and meals all came together. He had all our drinks refilled promptly and was on hand for everything. Well done Lee, you are an asset to Tgis.
Underwhelming and overpriced, staff were lovely but £224 for a very average dinner on a Tuesday night is madness! £20 for a very basic pasta dish, £6.30 for a bit of garlic bread is beyond reasonable. Definitely won’t be returning any time soon. Disappointing birthday celebrations
Booked for Mothers Day at 1.00. Waited for 45 mins and still no table so left. Place seemed in chaos with many people looking very frustrated. Staff seemed to have no direction
Visited for a small family celebration. Waited in the bar for one drink, then found us a boot, which kids always ask for. Love Calamari and really surprised and happy to see it's on Friday's menu now! Had to have it! Wasn't disappointed. If overcooked it goes rubbery-not so! Seriously good Think it should come with lemon, and will ask for some next time. Had Ultimate ribs for the first time. Again, not disappointed. Great atmosphere, nice cosy, funky place to be on a cold night. Kids love the memorabilia everywhere Recommend
Not a great experience. Booked a table for 9. Got asked to wait by the bar on arrival as the table wasn't ready even though we arrived on time. Was stood by the bar and the staff made us feel as though we were just stood in the way. Got seated after around 15-20 minutes waiting. After finally getting sat down the server seemed very flustered but took out drinks order. Returned promptly with the drinks and rushed for a food order even though we had only had the menu all of 5 minutes. Made our orders and then it took around 45 minutes to arrive. No body asked if we needed more drinks in that time, we ended up asking someone for more drinks in the end. When the appetisers did arrive they missed one of the guests and didn't bring out any serving plates for the sharing meals. When we managed to get someone's attention they didn't seem in a rush to bring out the missed appetiser or plates so the other guests food was just warm by the time we started eating together. Next they started to bring out the mains before even clearing the table from the appetisers so we ended up having to clear the table ourselves to one end so that the guy had room to put the mains down. Even then they didn't take everything away and we were sat with plates from the appetisers throughout our main course. At no point were we asked if we wanted anymore drinks and had to try and attract someone's attention every time. They couldn't use a shortage of staff as an issue because we saw enough stood about chatting to each other and I watched one guy actually manage to clean an empty table 3 times trying to avoid having to do any proper work. That place really needs someone in there taking charge so that everyone knows what to do. On a positive though, the food was nice, even though it wasn't as warm as it should have been from all the waiting about. There was 1 very friendly lady there too. This was for a birthday and we go to different TGI's for all our family birthdays, but unfortunately will be very reluctant to use this one again, which is a shame as it's one of our closest. It was a party of 9 adults and children, which I wouldn't have thought too difficult? We had one at the Birstall TGI less than a month previous with a party of 26 and that was perfect, without one mistake (which we would have expected with a party that size). It's a shame the Sheffield experience wasn't the same. The meal total was just under £300
