Przekaż informację zwrotnąThis is my first negative review in a while. An older lady was too busy talking to the man in front of me and a couple at a nearby table. The cake selection was not great, so I had to go upstairs since all the tables were booked. The older lady who served me scolded me for making her carry my now cold coffee upstairs. It was a truly terrible experience that I will never repeat.
My partner took me here for lunch as we hadn't eaten here before. It was such a lovely experience and the staff were so friendly and chatty. I had a club sandwich with crisps which was really tasty and a reasonable price. They also do a deluxe milkshake which satisfied my sweet tooth! We'd definitely come here again: thank you for making our lunch date really special :
We call in to the Hot Gossip and we had a lovely meal with tea and cake FAB place 10/10.Go and give them a try you will enjoy your visit
Hot Gossip is a charming restaurant located in the bustling heart of Treorchy. They serve delicious light meals and desserts, all freshly prepared. Be sure to check out their Specials boards, especially on weekends. It's a wonderful spot to enjoy a coffee and watch the lively activity of this busy town. The restaurant is also licensed, so you can enjoy a glass of wine if you like. The family-run establishment, led by Sara and her staff, always extends a warm and friendly welcome to all. It can get quite busy, but we are regular customers and highly recommend it. - Jeff and Karen
We live about a mile and a half from Hot Gossip, But on anything but a fleeting visit to Treorchy a visit is a must. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the menu quite extensive, the meals beautifully presented and attentively served served. In addition to the regular cafe furniture there is a low round table with bucket chairs downstairs, and settees upstairs for lounging. It is not possible to visit without meeting friends and chatting, and on our last visit we shared the round table with two complete strangers, and had a long interesting conversation. Such is the nature of the place, it seems to induce conviviality. There are groups of friends who meet weekly, share a bottle of wine, have a coffee and something to eat, and just hang out I think this is what Tony Blair had in mind when he saw Britain as a Cafe Society. We 'll be there tomorrow. Enjoying a coffee and soaking up the atmosphere. Sarnws
