Obviously this place has good opinions, but when I went there I couldn't even try it because, after politely greeting the server of about fifty years (in German and intelligible) and by making it clear that we would like to take a beer or two, it has quite irritatingly ignored me. I never had such a welcome, not even a word or a look to make me understand that he was going to close or that he had no time or that I know...I would have understood and accepted. Original Pilsbar with outer area directly at the blade gate in the beautiful blade gate. Great hospitality, top tap beers, music and food super. We arrive several times before and after our bike tours or hikes.

After visiting this original pub for the first time in autumn, this time before dinner, I had arrived at the hotel and then on a baggage. Cosy atmosphere, friendly service, delicious beer. Come back safely at the next stay in Rothenburg.
