The Big Ketch Saltwater Grill - Roswell

Great food! Great service! So accommodating for our 2 and 4 year old, Great lawn for them to play while adults could finish dinner! We had an amazing dinner experience.

Service was some of the best I have had. I tasted three separate dishes and every one of them was delicious. Nice quiet atmosphere with valet parking.

Brought to you by the culinary team behind Southern Proper Hospitality (Gypsy Kitchen, Smokebelly BBQ, The Southern Gentleman and Milton's Cuisine Cocktails), The Big Ketch opened their first location in Buckhead back in October of 2010. This local beach house known for its chef-driven, fast casual seafood menu, has been a popular destination amongst Atlanta residents for years, which led to the opening of their second location OTP (outside the perimeter) in the Alpharetta/Roswell area in late October of 2015. At the helm of the kitchen is Chef Derek Dollar, who also leads the kitchen at Milton's Cuisine and Cocktails. Although not much is known about Chef Dollar, it's pretty clear that his incorporation of local and seasonal ingredients to create elegant and contemporary Southern comfort foods is what keep the masses comin' back for more. When dining at The Big Ketch, you can't help the fact that you'll want to order every single item off of their fresh seafood menu, not only because of the affordable prices, but also because the atmosphere here is unlike that of any other restaurant in the area. With their bright and lively environment, followed by their happy hour specials Monday-Friday from 5-6 PM with dishes starting at $1.95 and up, there's a whole lot to love in addition to their freshly shucked oysters award-winning lobster rolls.

They take the cod, batter it, and then roll it in kettle chips. Not only do you get the crunch from the fried fish, you also get the crunch from the potato chips. This is the crunchiest guilty pleasure I have had in a long time.

Such a great restaurant and place to celebrate my birthday! They had enough room for all 12 of my guests. The dinner and drinks were delicious! Service was great. And it's a great place to enjoy a meal outdoors when the weather is warmer.
