However, there was one occasion where the service was poor. We were warned that the kitchen was busy when we ordered the main course, but we did not expect to wait 50 minutes for it to arrive. Despite the non-kitchen staff being free to prepare desserts, it took another 50 minutes for them to be served. We had two children with us and had to ask about the desserts after 30 minutes, only to be told they would be ready soon. When I mentioned this to the staff member who eventually brought the desserts, they seemed indifferent and did not apologize. On another visit with my partner, we ordered after a large group of 16, but thankfully our meals were not delayed by their order. Despite the one negative experience, I have returned to the pub and will continue to do so as it offers good value for money. There is a supervised play area for children upstairs for a small fee, as well as a small outdoor play area.

Located near the Rawtenstall to Bury train tracks, this restaurant is a great spot for families to enjoy a meal and drinks. Although it may be slightly off the beaten path, tucked away beyond the industrial units of New Hall Hey, it tends to get busy during peak times. The prices are reasonable and the service is generally good. There is usually a bit of a wait for food, but that's to be expected given its popularity.

I recently went to this restaurant for a Christmas lunch and found the staff to be friendly and helpful. However, the food was really bad. I would not suggest this place to my friends.
