Very nice staff eating was again excellent

I ate a crusher with raw mozzarella, in a trattoria/pizzeria in the central square of the chestnut. simple place but overall meets the requirements. Good!

The best value for money found in the castle, all great and a good selection of wines, does not enjoy sea view because located in the village walk but making only 200mt walk you can observe the most beautiful sunset of the area at the bay of the Quercetano. in summer and during holidays it is practically necessary to book because there is always full. the sea ravioli my favorite dish, are delicious!

Where should I start with? There was Not enough staff for the size of the restaurant... The waiters were stressed all the time and just tried to keep up with the amount of work. We ordered a bottle of rosé and when I asked for an ice bucket I was told there were none left... despite everyone else was having one... That’s something the waiter should consider BEFORE serving a bottle of vine, especially when it’s 30 degrees! Last but not least: the food. The bread was old and didn’t taste good, the salad was brownish and the only thing that tasted fresh were the red onions. The riso con funghi porcini... maybe it wasn’t called risotto because it was not very much like a proper risotto, the rice was not even done and far too hard, as well as the porcini “fresh from the freezer”. Furthermore, considering the restaurant being located 50 m from the sea, frozen scampi are not what you expect, especially in Italy.
