The ONLY difference this time was that our 23rd weeding anniversary fell on Mother's Day so the restaurant was FILLED with young children. It's nice to see families treating their wives/mothers to a nice dinner, but the noise level and rambunctiousness of all the kids was a bit much for us and our romantic dinner. It actually quite surprises me how many people can afford to bring their young children to an 80-dollar-a-plate restaurant these days. Doesn't seem very appropriate to me, but then again I don't have kids of my own so my tolerance level is pretty low. Sometimes it just seems like there's a lack of courtesy when it comes to people with young children. Other than that, the service and food were exemplary as always and we'll be back next year...but NOT on Mother's Day.
Our service on Mothers day was fantastic. Our server's name was Thomas, he greeted our party by name and wished my wife Happy Mothers Day wished me Happy Birthday. He was on top of all our needs.
Food was ok. Expensive for what the quality was. Didn't care for our server. Very all over the place and couldn't remember a thing. It was Mother's Day so I don't blame him. Our food didn't come out hot which made me assume it had been sitting because our server kept completely forgetting things. Definitely don't get the salmon it's over cooked and very fishy tasting. I won't be back but my mom loved her stuffed chicken breast!
Mother's day brunch at Ruth's Chris was a delightful experience. The Cajun eggs benedict was so creative and delicious and the filet was perfectly cooked Tge service was perfect
I ordered a Mother's Day Brunch menu Mimosa. I assumed they were bottomless as usual at a Mother's Day Brunch so I didn't question when he brought me a second one when I was a bit past half done with the first. I did not request it. I only drank about half the second one before we left. Later, when looking over the bill I realized I'd been charged for 2. As we were with family etc I didn't want to call in to dispute it but I'll for sure question every beverage before a refill arrives and check my ticket before I leave.
