Mimi's Cafe - Roseville

I like this cute place. Good food, good service and yummy desserts.

This place used to be good. But much like everything else in the world, nothing lasts forever. Sadly, the prices have gone up but the quality of the food, along with the portions have gone down. I will never visit a Mimis's cafe again. We waited over 40 minutes for our three dishes. The food was extremely low quality, wilted lettuce and old burger patties. Chef Ramsay needs to overhaul this place and yell at someone.

Okay, my husband and I used to love coming to Mimi's Cafe. But after today's lunch, we are definitely not coming back. We waited more than 30 minutes to get our food, and when we did, it was not what we were expecting. The quality of the ingredients and the amount of it was a total disappointment. The lettuce of my salad was old. The burger that my daughter ordered was pieces of burger glued together with cheese. In general, food was lacking flavor, for sure salt and pepper. And to have to pay $52 for all this bad food, it is not worth it to come back and give it another try. You are better off at McDonald's.

Unfortunately Mimi's has gone down in food quality and service.

Amazing place to stop on a trip up to tahoe. nice change up from your typical quick stop food. Upscale diner-style with a french vibe/theme that was pleasant. They have a wide selection of good stuff that you don't always see. For example, corn chowder is one of my favorite soups that you never see (and theirs was good). Had an amazing kids menu too
