Ichiddo Ramen - Roseville

This restaurant serves some pretty good ramen. I arrived about half an hour after they opened. The service was friendly, though it was clear they were short-staffed, so I didn’t mind waiting. I enjoyed a hearty bowl of the minced Char Siu Ramen. While others mentioned it was spicy, I found it to be quite mild or even on the lighter side. Nevertheless, the broth was excellent, and the noodles and toppings were just right. The appetizers were a bit less impressive in appearance, but the flavors were definitely there. I would definitely come back for a quick meal.

We had a great time during our visit. However, I was let down by the Takoyaki. Normally, we go to Nicolette, where the presentation is stunning. Here, they covered the Takoyaki with paper crumbs, which made it lack the vibrancy and visual appeal we're used to. I had brought some first-timers and had talked it up, so it was a significant disappointment. On the bright side, the rest of the food was excellent.

We ordered the fried chicken and pork belly dumplings as appetizers, followed by the pork belly and some fried rice for our main course. Everything was delicious! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, especially considering the affordable prices. I highly recommend it for a budget-friendly yet tasty meal!

Friendly service Wünsch the vegetarian ramen would have a little more taste. But I would still come back maybe try a Japanese Authentic menu item next time

It's hard to find good Ramen places in Minnesota, so I was incredibly excited to try this Ramen. My husband and I both got the number one selling pork ramen. I found the pork to be kind of dry and the broth was not nearly as flavorful as I was hoping for. You will have to be rolled out of here though because the portions are big and they do not skimp on the noodles. We also had tried the octopus appetizer and were a little disappointed that the deep-fried ball had one tiny piece of octopus in a sea of deep fried breading. There are better Ramen places out there but this one has plenty of seating and is relatively fast so I wouldn't be opposed to returning.
