Fats Asia Bistro, Roseville

To be fair, the food was quite good, the service was satisfactory, and the atmosphere was nice. My friend and I had lunch there and ordered an appetizer and an entrée each. The food was served in a reasonable time. However, there are two important points to consider: the family-style dining and the cost. I assumed that "family style" meant that all the entrées would be shared, as is common in many Asian restaurants. What I didn’t realize was that at this restaurant, there are no additional side dishes provided with the entrées—not even rice! I would have liked to order some green beans, but they were priced at a staggering $14 for that side dish. In total, my friend and I ended up spending $50 each for lunch—without drinks or sides. After our meal, I was able to buy two bags of groceries for the same amount. Overall, I felt that lunch here wasn’t worth the cost. There are plenty of other great restaurants to choose from.

The appetizers, including Chicken Pot Stickers and Lumpia, were quite enjoyable, and our server provided excellent service. However, the main dishes, specifically the Honey Walnut Chicken and Sweet and Sour Chicken, left me feeling disappointed. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but considering the prices, I doubt I'll return. There are more affordable places offering similar quality food. We dined there on a Saturday night, and a reservation was necessary.

I love this location. The ambience is great and drinks are on point. The food was tasty and our waiter was great!

Such a delight! What was not to love? The atmosphere was dynamic, the service was excellent, and the food was superb. Jessica our waitress was engaging and charming with our children and their honey walnut chicken was splendid. It was such a joy to watch her interact with our children in between services. She was truly the crowning jewel of our experience. Whenever we're in Roseville, we shall attempt to make it a point to return considering what an wonderful experience we had as a family.

Absolutely exquisite! Our server, Pedro, was flawless. Our orders arrived at just the right intervals, and our iced tea was constantly refilled. The Banana Cream Pie was to die for! One slice shared among the four of us was just perfect. I can't wait to return!
