Del Taco - Roseville

Good service, especially considering Del Taco has only been open a few days. Nicely prepared food and the order came out exactly as requested. Friendly staff and the drive-thru moved rather quickly. Great location in the new center on Blue Oaks near the Nugget Market. A welcome addition to the area for fast food options and a great value in Del Taco's extensive dollar menu.

When we arrived at the restaurant, the drive through line was packed with cars, so we decided to go inside. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and told to let the staff know when we were ready to order. The dining room was very clean, as was the restroom. All three employees we interacted with were extremely pleasant. Our drinks were brought to us shortly after placing our order, and our food was ready within 5 minutes. The food was good, but I felt that there was an excessive amount of cheese on the tacos - at least triple the amount you would typically find at a fast food restaurant. It seems like there may be a need for more consistency in portion sizes. A couple of downsides were that the quesadilla was barely melted, and the floor throughout the restaurant was quite slippery. Additionally, despite it being July, Christmas songs were playing for the entire 20 minutes we were there.

Avoid this place at all costs. After waiting 15 minutes in the drive-through line for fast food, there was an additional 15-minute wait to place an order with only 4 cars ahead of me. Then, it took another 10 minutes to receive the food and another 5 minutes to verify the order, only to realize they had missed items. When I went inside to ask for the missing item, I saw a dirty kitchen that completely turned me off. The manager offered two burritos instead of one for the inconvenience, but the uncleanliness of the place made it clear that I will not be returning here for the sake of my family's well-being.

Waited for 40 mins in drive thru for this chili cheese fries. This is not what del taco 's chili cheese fries supposed to be. What we got is about 70% ground beef and cheese and 30% fries and NO CHILI. It 's so hard to eat. We tried to give this place a chance since it just opened but this is our 3rd time here and experience is still as bad as the first. This location needs to be saved by better management.

I went to the restaurant looking for tamales, but they were out of stock. I ended up ordering some other items. While waiting for my order, a lady came in and complained to the manager over the phone that her bean burrito smelled like cigarettes. When I received my burritos, I checked them and also noticed the cigarette smell. It seemed like the beans were burned rather than being used as an ashtray. It appears that the staff may have been overwhelmed and struggling to keep up. Although the employees were friendly, there always seems to be issues at this location. I would suggest avoiding this restaurant if possible, which is disappointing because my wife and I are fans of Del Taco.
