Chipotle Mexican Grill - Roseville

Before the pandemic, I wasn't impressed with Chipotle in Sacramento, so I wasn't expecting much when my husband and I stopped by for lunch. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The staff member who prepared my bowl and my husband's burrito was friendly and helpful. I tried the Barbacoa for the first time and he kindly let me taste it, patiently explaining the ingredients. The cashier was also friendly, efficient, and quick.

There was a noticeable discrepancy in serving sizes. A white customer before my wife asked for extra rice and was promptly accommodated. However, when my Mexican wife asked for the same, she was denied due to a lack of rice for the evening. This was concerning as other white customers continued to receive generous portions after her. All the staff on duty that night were white, which, combined with the unequal treatment my wife experienced, suggests possible racial discrimination. Not only was she refused extra rice, but she was also not allowed to purchase a side of rice, resulting in just half a scoop in her burrito. This situation raises serious concerns about bias and unfair treatment of customers. The staff's ability to provide extra rice to certain customers while denying others, especially based on race, is troubling. It indicates a level of discrimination that is both unacceptable and troubling. We believe in fair and equal treatment for all customers, regardless of race or ethnicity. Unfortunately, our recent visit to this Chipotle fell short of these principles. I am sharing this review to bring attention to what occurred and to urge management to address these issues seriously. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this Chipotle location.

I absolutely love Chipotle. The food is amazing, the staff is fantastic, and the atmosphere is great. I highly recommend coming here with friends for a fun dining experience.

Poor customer service and management, cold and overpriced food.Burrito looked more like a ball then a burrito. It was so bulky that on parts it tasted like salsa and meat.Rude heavy woman screams at everyone. I think shes managment.Employees don't care at all.First and last time.
