Carmelita's - Roseville

The dish on the left is Garlic Butter Shrimp. Rice and beans were very bland tasting and overly soaked in butter, so much so that we didn't take any home. Shrimp was plentiful and tasty. The dish on the right is Shrimp Chimichanga (after I started cutting it topped with Monterey Jack cheese. Inside was filled with plenty of shrimp and grilled onions and peppers. It tasted good, just to much cheese for me and I love cheese. Rice and beans were okay. I probably wouldn't eat here again. Staff was great.

Absolutely the best place around for Mexican food. Good family style meals cook to your order. This is where I have my family celebrations!

Rice, beans, chips, and salsas were very good. But my main course, chili Verde was not flavorful. The pork lacked flavor. My wife's mole enchiladas were very good. Much flavor.

Love this place. Been going here for over 30 years and its always great.
