Tucked away in the historic center of Rosemheim, this restaurant is situated at the Weinlaende, on the left side of the river, where the wine merchants had their trade. And wine is still a key word in this top notch Restaurant. With sure instinct the friendly staff is recommending and finding the perfect wine to pair with your dish. A dish that comes from the skilled hands of a chef that knows how to compose a perfect meal and tries to incorporate both seasonal and regional produce. First time having mouflon and falling in love right away melt in your mouth tastiness just as was the well balanced smoked salmon with white aspargus and quail egg (starter for 9 EUR, while the mains come at 20 30 ish) and the dessert, a chocolate soufflee with tonka bean ice cream.
What can I say? Top notch wine (Riesling) and perfectly prepared pike-perch. My usual long report isn't going to happen! Let's just say you must come!
