Pearl Barley - Roseburg North

This is the place we dreamed about when I was teaching CHIP with Dr. Charlie Ross. A fast food drive-thru for plant based eaters. There is transition food for plant based newbies and hardcore clean whole food options. I work at Pearl Barley and more importantly, I eat there! Come check it out!

Opening day and the boxed lunches were amazing...we had the baked taters with Bean's and broccoli..and salad...as well as the chik.pasta..everything was fabulous..loved the choc sause and apples!! Can't wait to try more..

This restaurant is fantastic! The home-cooked healthy options are bursting with flavor, making you forget you're eating vegan! I'm really excited to see this place thrive.

I finally visited the restaurant and had the risotto with mushrooms and broccoli, which was absolutely delicious! The garlic potato salad was delightful, and the apple pie cheesecake mousse was perfectly sweet and incredibly tasty! I'm planning to get a lunchbox from there at least once a week—it's just that good!

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for the wonderful food box that Josie delivered to me after today’s Truck closure. I truly appreciate it! It relieved me of the stress of figuring out what to cook for dinner, especially since I’ve been unwell for the past week and a half. Living alone means I’m solely responsible for any cooking that happens in my home, and with this cold, I certainly haven't had the energy to do much. I ordered the Penn pasta lasagna, which was absolutely delicious, and I also enjoyed a generous side of broccoli and mushroom risotto that was simply amazing. The salads were delightful as well! It was definitely worth the $9.50 I spent, as I was able to stretch the meal into two satisfying dinners. All I needed to do was reheat the risotto in the microwave, and it was good to go. It felt wonderful to enjoy such tasty, healthy food! Once again, thank you, Pearl Barley! By the way, I also graduated from the same plant-based food class as Josie, and I’m eager to see this business thrive.
