The Skillet - Rosamond

So for the last 3 weeks, we have tried to come and eat here. They are closed. Does anyone know what's going on? The food, service and atmosphere were fabulous. I had out of town company and wanted to bring them. Very, very disappointed.

I ate here for the first time this past weekend! I use to come to Guidos when it was here tho! Even tho the menu is somewhat limited, they do have some nice choices! I chose the hamburger combo! I can't remember what they called it but the hamburger was excellent, cooked perfectly and the meat was nice and juicy! I got a salad with my burger and the salad was great! Always have liked the Italian salad dressing guidos served and am glad it's the same! The staff was friendly and attentive! I will definitely be back soon! Had lunch here the other day again and had a burger again, and salad! Still as good as the first time! My friend had French fries with her burger and they are delicious! Almost like they have a breading on them!! Just awesome! I'll be back! How sad that the Skillet has closed down! My friend and I went there for lunch yesterday and found them gone! We ended up at the wayside cafe (great lunch) and the waitress confirmed the skillet has closed!! What a shame the town didn't support them

Amazing food. Awesome service. Killer esthetic!! Super big portions. We had kids pancakes and we had to take 1/2 of it home.. the French toast was great. The biscuits and gravy was spectacular!!!! We will be going back weekly

Amazing place to stop in and eat, great service and great food! I got the eggs Benedict with fried potatoes, it didn't come with toast as a previous review stated, but regardless it was very good. My husband got chicken fried steak and eggs with hash browns and a biscuit with gravy- which he enjoyed thoroughly! Will be coming back in the future.

Amazing, the food and service! Food portions are huge and the taste was great! Carla was great server and we will definitely be back! This place is a must!!!
