Terrible eating, tasteless and even recommended for the complained low price. although the intentionally is breathtaking, I will enjoy it in the future from the road.
The real highlight of this restaurant is a stunning location with views of the river orb and the quite beautiful bridge. we just arrived at sunset and had a spectacular view. we sat outside and until the light failed had a clear look at the very pretty one. eating is easy, although certainly pleasant. I had an salate I enjoyed with. While it can be difficult to present a bad salate, it is equally difficult to present a one that protrudes. this was certainly much more interesting and tasteful than many and simply the kind of starter I enjoy. my main course was beche a la plancha. that was a little difficult as it can be, so not as good as I would have wished. my man and our two friends had to start foie gras and everything was right, it was very good. my man then had ente à l’orange, which was ok, but not excellent and one of our friends had pizza that they enjoyed. it manages only half, but got one cist to take the other half (sometimes completely new in French restaurants.) none of us could mange pudding, as the meal was quite copy-like. all in a pleasant evening and enjoyable eating, but not eating fine through any stretch. it however put quite good value for money and certainly a visit worth considering the stunning location.
Our friends had lunch recommended to them. After they had an awesome lunch they insisted we go with them next time. Superb! Food was truley wonderful served by attentive and friendly staff. Wine selection was divine which complimented each dish. Well worth the trip from...Causses-et-Veyron.
Six of us booked here for Wednesday night. We had a a table on the terrace overlooking the river and the bridge. Fabulous. Our servers were all cheerful, helpful and patient. The food was all good. Rabbit, guinea fowl, etc. This place is a real...find and the surrounding town is delightful, including being able to swim in the river.
